    good starting kit

  2. Vintage razor modified 4 Star Review

I received the razor, mug, soap, brush, case and strop in a timely manner. The razor was shave ready but modified, in that it had part of the blade removed at the heel - possibly because of damage that couldn't be fixed. The mug and case were upgraded because of supply-line problems and the other accessories were as advertised and worked well. The razor was shave-ready and also worked well despite the modification. I am satisfied with my purchase and have purchased other items from this seller. Email communication was not as prompt as I would have liked.

  3. would definately do buisness here again 5 Star Review

So, this is my first straight razor and after a week I can say I am never shaving another way again. The blade is nicely polished with only a small spot of pitting on one end, id honestly expected worse from a nearly 90 year old razor though I am no expert id assume its well honed because even though I am still working on stropping its giving me a very smooth shave. The strop seems fine even though its narrower then the blade, it has not come apart or anything even despite being held taught when stropping. The brush has a very heavy metal handle and after some initial shedding is lathering up the col. conk almond shave soap that came with everything quite well, never using canned shaving cream again either the col. conk is awesome. The travel pouch I haven't touched its still in its wrapper in the medicine cabinet.
The only thing I wish this had with it was a bottle of some good aftershave to top everything off, either way it was a great buy and ill definitely do business with these guys again.
