    Great shaving soap. Fragrance is not overpowering, but pleasant. Lathers up well, and gives a great shave.

    This shaving soap lathers up nice and thick, and really reduces friction during my shave. I've been wet-shaving with a DE razor for about a year now, and the feel is comparable to a Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream I used. Great shave, no complaints.

    I paired it with the Smolder Pre-Shave oil, and got an effortlessly close shave with minimal irritation.

    But that scent! The other reviewers are right about it. It reminds me of pipe tobacco in a leather pouch, but it doesn't just smell like tobacco. It's hard to describe, but it just smells...masculine. Women have complimented me on how I smell when I use it, and let's be honest - who doesn't like that?

    Can't express how much I'm fallen in love with this scent. Also the soap lathers well and protects and gives me close shaves despite my amateur skills. Bought the pre-shave and aftershave as well in smolder. Might be too much haha, if it is I'll just get the snake oil aftershave. Compares favorably to Proraso which is the only other soap I've tried, except I hated that scent.

    This soap smell awesome,if that weren't enough it's as slick as Teflon between my DE razor and skin. Need an aftershave in this scent!

    i use this before i shave and my girlfriend loves how it smells on me and even a few girls at a mall asked me if if it was me who smelled so good. i now dont use anything else

    WOW this stuff is great. Not only does it make the blade just float over your skin, giving you a baby butt smooth face, but the aroma that it put out just drove my wife bonkers. This is great stuff, viagra in a can, you can count on further orders from me. I'm sold.

    I purchased 3 tins on a special, now that ive tried it I feel guilty for not paying full price! Does not need a lot of water to make a thick slick lather. The scent? There are no words.....
